RangeReady is a privacy-first mobile app designed for firearm owners to manage inventory, track ammunition usage, and maintain detailed service records. Developed by an enthusiast for enthusiasts, the app eliminates the need for complex spreadsheets by providing a dedicated digital logbook that prioritizes simplicity, mechanical reliability, and data sovereignty.

RangeReady allows users to log range sessions that automatically reduce the count of ammo used while increasing the round count for specific firearms. This round count, in turn, triggers maintenance reminders. Whether you are tracking a 2,500-round recoil spring replacement for a Sig Sauer P365 or a 20,000-round magazine spring replacement for a competition CZ Shadow 2, RangeReady ensures your gear is ready when you are.

Key Features

Inventory Management: Maintain a detailed record of firearms, including purchase dates, serial numbers (optional), and full maintenance and practice histories.
Detailed Practice Records: Range sessions are linked to your ammo inventory and firearm round count. Log a session with 250 rounds, and the app automatically updates your remaining stock and schedule maintenance tasks.
Maintenance Reminders: Popular models have pre-selected maintenance schedules compiled from manufacturer recommendations and armorer input.

Privacy & Data Sovereignty

In an era of data harvesting and cloud-based surveillance, RangeReady takes a hard stance on user privacy:

No Accounts: There is no registration process. You do not need to provide an email address or personal details to use the app.
Local Storage: All data is stored only on your device by default.
Optional Cloud Sync: For users who want the convenience of sharing data between Apple devices, sync is available as part of a premium subscription (an account is still not required).
No Tracking: The app only collects anonymous usage data, such as crashes and performance metrics. Nothing is tied to a specific device or individual.
